DocCommander - Version History


Changes in version 1.2:

Added "Store file links" option at the "SuperRecent" property page;
Hitting Enter now selects all text in the File Name field;
Integration with MS Visual Studio IDE is available.
Office 2000, Office XP, Office 2003 integration added;
"Thumbnails" view added (available with Shell version 5.0 and higher);
Alt+Right arrow key will navigate forward;
Renaming folder now scrolls to make renamed folder visible;
F3 key now associated with Find File action;
Find File action now can be associated with any search application, not only with windows's "find files" app;
The tray icon can be hidden;
A "default" size can be set for DocCommander's window;
When open inside an application, DocCommander's window doesn't appear on the taskbar;
QuickBar's width can be adjusted;
Folder list available via tray icon shows user defined captions rather than original folder names;
QuickBar items now can be renamed;
"Force resize" option added to force DocCommander's window to be always resizeable even if the host application does not allow resize;

Changes in version 1.1:

Folders on QuickBar can be reorganized with drag'n'drop;
Folder links from QuickBar can be moved to desktop or Windows Explorer with drag'n'drop;
Integration with programs is totally reworked. DocCommander now can display even very complex 'templated' Open and Save windows;
More applications supported: Visio 2000, Macromedia Dreamweaver 4, Microsoft Photo Editor, AdAware, ReGet, IDA, etc. Now 99% of all applications should be supported;
Integration with 'exe-packed' programs is available;
New 'Remember Scroll Position' and 'Remember last selection' option added in the File View settings page. The options can be very useful when opening/saving large sequence of files one-by-one.
